I have always been so moved by this story from the moment I began to read it in 2007. I would share sentence after sentence with my wife & immediate family to the point where I never even got a chance to finish the book! Filled with discouragement & disappointment I felt the holy spirit telling me to read the book at my convenience whenever I felt him calling me to do so. Many years later, after catching up on the reading I claim to have not heard the holy spirit calling me to do so frequently; it dawned on me what it means to be a young husband / father / & music artist, with a checkered past who lives with the faith of believing these things so freely, and how much her story relates to our culture?
In my prayerful meditation I hear Jesus' plan on how he intends to use me through the art form of Hiphop to encourage his children of the future to dwell in the shelter of those pale & red rays which gushed forth from his heart (after being pierced open) at the end of his crucifixion, as a representation of his Divine Mercy.
It is my mission as a Christian Hiphop artist to encourage people to recourse to the fountain of Jesus' Divine Mercy through the form of Hiphop. It is no doubt in my heart that The Lord has chosen me to reiterate these teachings placed in the heart and sight of our beloved Saint M. Faustina Kowalska.
Should Hiphop be a recourse to the fountain of Jesus' mercy.. or nah?
